After the success of the Face of Gold Coast Fashion Week 2007 winner Maddison Gabriel being signed to model internationally and other previous entrants such as Miss Australia / Celebrity Apprentice contestant Jesinta Campbell. The Face of Gold Coast Fashion Week 2012 was held at Komune Beach Club in Coolangatta, Australia. 20 models were hoping to become the Face of Gold Coast Fashion Week for 2012 and one was chosen.
Five guest judges selected the aspiring model that will lead the runway at the Gold Coast Fashion Week opening catwalk parade in February. Judges include Katrina Jones, Reporter at The Gold Coast Bulletin, Leah Madden, White Sands Swimwear Designer, Elizabeth McMahon, International Model and Owner of Elisasi Fashion
Styling, Heidi Bartholomew, Creative Director for Billabong, and professional surfer Mike Crews. Bec Ronald, Ambassador and Lifestyle Model for Billabong, was the presenter for the evening.
Jocelyn’s striking looks and down to earth personality proved to be the winning combination for the18 year old beauty. The judges felt that Jocelyn has a fresh image that alludes confidence, style and sophistication. Marketing Manager Danielle Daquino says the photo shoot with Jocelyn will be taking place at The Oracle, Broadbeach.
